The Norwegian Organ Festival

Welcome to the concert at Utstein monastery!

The ensemble performs a program including an organ concerto by Handel and cantatas and instrumental music by J.S.Bach and G.P.Telemann for soprano, oboe, violin and basso continuo. The repertoire will be marked by the fact that the organ is the most important instrument, and then it is extra nice to be able to have Christian Kjos with him, who is an absolute leader in historical organ and continuo playing in this country. The ensemble with soprano, oboe and violin in addition to the continuo group offers a great many possibilities and gives a maximally varied expression considering how small the ensemble is after all. This is an orchestra in pocket format!
