Ine Hoem
Minnelandet
Ine Hoem has established herself as one of the country’s most distinctive artists with a voice that strikes straight to the heart. Born and raised in Grünerløkka, Oslo, she has deep roots in Fræna, Møre og Romsdal, where her father, Edvard Hoem, comes from.
In her music, she blends elements of modern folk-pop and the world of jazz. Heartfelt stories meet a contemporary singer-songwriter tradition, combined with a unique ability to communicate. Songs like "Broren din" and "Vi trenger ikke hage vi" have been frequently played on the radio, and in recent years, she has toured the country with her father, Edvard Hoem, with their concert Alt vi har kjært. In this collaboration, father and daughter worked together on both lyrics and music, and the release received glowing reviews in the Norwegian press.
In January 2025, Ine Hoem releases her album Minnelandet and embarks on a long tour across Norway. "Minnelandet is a concept album where I’ve looked back in time and brought forward stories and memories from my life up until now. I’ve written lyrics that are personal, deeply rooted in my own life, but also touch on something universal for the listener. The relationships with family, growing up, adolescence, lost love, and lasting love—these are all woven into a musical landscape created with my musicians. This is the first album I’m producing myself.”
