Duo Saxe – “A Piacere”
Runar Kjeldsberg and Charlotte Udø Kjeldsberg met through music and found harmony with their instruments – guitar and flute. Since 2001, they have performed together across the globe, from Australia, the USA, France, the Netherlands, and Montenegro, to more local stages in Norway such as Musikkens Venner and Den Kulturelle Spaserstokken.
Along the way, they’ve encountered many inspiring people and fellow musicians who have helped shape the unique musical voice of Duo Saxe.
“A Piacere” is an Italian musical term meaning “at one’s pleasure,” and it perfectly captures the essence of Duo Saxe: performing music they love, exactly the way they enjoy it – with spontaneity, communication, and playfulness.
The concert program includes works by Robert Schumann, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and Luigi Legnani, among others.
