🎶Khaled Habeeb (oud) and John Derek Bishop (live sampling) form a duo that combines Arabic folk music with electronic music.
Their music is improvised, rooted in traditional Arabic music as well as ambient and experimental electronic music. Together, they create an atmospheric and immersive soundscape where tradition meets contemporary experimentation.
In autumn 2026, they will release their first album together. They have performed together at venues and festivals including Victoria National Jazz Scene (Oslo), Punkt Festival (Kristiansand), Riksscenen (Oslo), Sølvberget (Stavanger) and Folken (Stavanger).
